Broken Yet Triumphant

BROKEN, YET TRIUMPHANT reveals in fictional form the drama of family suspense in finding the brutally slain bodies of two dear friends (double-murder mystery). It incorporates private episodes that touch the heartstrings, including near death experiences, stolen property, and the fish-bowl existence of the Minister’s home through the transparent heart of a Minister’s wife.

BROKEN, YET TRIUMPHANT is a personal story of two people and their family as they walk together in the service of their Master -– their conflicts and their strife -– their tears and their heartaches -– their joys and their victories, but always going onward and upward in their walk with the Lord. You will see their battles, their defeats, and their victories. Often what looks like defeat will be seen later to have been a positive victory. Deliverance was achieved from seemingly insurmountable odds.

“I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH”

As the oldest of the six children of Albert E and Aimee D Anderson, I have always seemed to carry the torch for our family legacy. I have “great” and “awesome” memories of the many sermons my dad preached throughout his years of ministry in the pulpit, as well as the “many” sermons that were preached to us kids before and during our times of discipline after doing something we were told not to do! Both were invaluable in my upbringing; and I will always be grateful for that.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this book will be an invaluable tool for the “new” Christian just beginning his journey, the “seasoned” Christian wanting a deeper walk with the Lord, or the person that is simply “searching” for something that is missing in their lives! Jesus wants to be sought after by all humanity; and it is only after finding “HIM” the giver of life, that true happiness lies. May you be as blessed reading this book as I was living it day in and day out!

– Deborah Dawn Anderson Chase

“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:28–31

SILENCED: REFUSED TO BE SILENCED — Inspired by A True Story

“No one can control all the circumstances and events that come to us day by day. Oftentimes things happen which we have no control over. However, each one of us CAN control our REACTION to what transpires in our lives. We can make a conscious choice whether we will allow the events of our lives to make us BITTER or BETTER. We can become BITTER as acid—mean, sour, miserable to be with or near—or we can use (with God’s grace and help) the happenings of our lives to make us more loving, kind, considerate of others—more like Jesus!”
This world is on the edge of moral decay. America’s strength cannot rise above the righteousness and strength of her churches. Faithless and false leadership in the church leads to spiritual devastation and ruin not only for the leaders but for the people they lead. Many times people are balanced precariously between heaven and hell, thus, the truth must not be altered, watered down, or compromised, whether it be in the church or in the U.S. government.
